| Parting tools for sale - $20 each. Overall length is approximately 11 inches,. The handle is 5-1/2 inches long, 11/16 thick x 1-1/4 wide. I have Cherry, Walnut, Hickory, Ash, and Maple handles already roughed out. Scales riveted on with brass rod, and finished with high solids lacquer. The blade is 1-1/4 wide x .050" thick. (just under a 1/16"). The spring steel for the blade seems to be air hardened. I know it's some hard stuff. It cannot be annealed, so it takes a high quality carbide drill bit to drill the rivet holes. I've been using mine for several years, and can tell you it will take all the abuse you can throw at it. I have enough steel for 10 of these, two have sold already. When these are sold, they are gone.
