Meeting Place

The Classic City Woodturners typically meets on the last Monday of each month in the Construction Technologies Classroom of Clarke Central High School in Athens GA, from 6:00PM to 9:00PM. Exceptions to this schedule may occur near holidays.

To reach Clarke Central High School, once in Athens, turn onto South Rock Springs St. from either West Broad St. (US Hwy 78) or Baxter Street. Continue to Waddell St. and turn onto to the campus (left from W. Broad Street, right from Baxter). Drive past the athletic fields to just beyond the double wide temporary classroom building on the right. The Construction Technologies Classroom will be on the right on the ground floor of the West Wing of the high school (building in red on the map). There is an entrance door next to a large red overhead door at the corner of the building. After school hours, any available unoccupied campus parking spaces may be used.
