Fellow Woodturners, we are pleased to announce that in-person meetings are around the corner. The email below from President Lou Kudon announces our first meeting since March 2020. Please be sure to note the new time for the meeting as well as the conditions for meeting at the Lyndon House.Justin Reese, Secretary
“The Classic City Woodturners are resuming meeting. We will meet the first Tuesday of every month at the Lyndon House Community Room. Since Lyndon House is now closing earlier at 8:00 PM, our meetings will start at 5:30 PM. We have to be out of the facility by 8:00 PM.
The following are mandatory rules of the Lyndon House:
Meetings limited to 20 attendees.
All attendees must wear masks.
Seats will be set up for social distancing.
The first meeting will be May 4. Charles Armentrout will be arranging a demonstration. Jim Talley will do his program on natural edge turnings which will include some turning and some lecture on types and styles of natural edge turnings. I hope to see you there.”
